Today I have the pleasure of leading the 2024 Teaching Effectiveness Institute at Northern Illinois University. It’s a full day of faculty development — with four sessions designed to move conversations from the “what” and “why” of digital literacy to strategies for integration, assessment, and lowering barriers to success — but I’m looking forward to getting to know the NIU faculty and walk through some of the specific tensions they are dealing with in trying to leverage digital innovation in the classroom..
