The Elevated Education Exchange event at Auburn University (hosted by Provost units Academic Support, the Biggio Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning, and Academic Insight and University Writing) kicks off a series of keynotes and invited talks for me this spring. For this event, the task was to help faculty understand what is possible with bringing digital literacy into their work with students. So I put together my talk across 3 frames–a digital educator’s journey, a digital transformation approach, and a starting place–but I also created the visual aid for my talk in Adobe Express with the intent of it being a resource I could leave with participants. While I won’t cover everything on the Express page linked below, it does provide a fairly robust structure from which to share my story, to highlight how we help faculty integrate these things at IU, and offer an activity as a starting point.
